savage approach to music, crossing genres from the garage/surf sounds
of instrumentals such as "Tombtone
Boogie", "The Curse of Little Bastard", and "Do
the Lurd!!" to the rockabilly swing of "Late At Night" on
to the straight-no-chaser rock-n-roll of "Hold Me Baby" through
to the lulling sounds of balladry as heard in "Used to You".
Perhaps the truest test of all is that the originals are of as classic
a sound as the covers and the covers are as fresh as the originals.
You have never heard "The Seeker" or "Rockin' Maybelle" or "Feel
Like Going Home" quite like this before, and you will never
listen to them in the same way again. |
